Saturday, September 22, 2007 the Henan Dance and Music Troupe will perform in Columbia. (The Chinese Moon Festival is the 15th of the eighth month in lunar calendar which is September 24 in 2007.)

September 29 and 30, 2007, two Chinese artists will be at the Columbia Festival of Arts. One does painting inside a bottle and the other does the Chinese embroidery. Don’t miss these opportunities to see traditional Chinese arts in Columbia!

CFC sent Columbia area artists, the Ironweed Bluegrass Band to perform at the Qingdao Beer Festival in August 2007. Read the press release. Follow the Ironweed in China Blog!

Artists: With the nearby Olympic Games, the 2008 Qingdao festival will have a huge audience. "How do you get to Qingdao? Practice, practice, practice."
